WENZEL – ALVIN GUSTAV
Mr. Alvin Wenzel of Medicine Hat, beloved husband of the late Mrs. Erna Wenzel, passed away on Tuesday, December 12th, 2006, at the age of 76 years. Alvin leaves to cherish his memory four sons, Gregory (Pam) Wenzel of Cochrane, Ronald (Cindy) Wenzel of Fort Saskatchewan, Laurence (Carol) Wenzel of Cochrane, and Andrew (Lori) Wenzel of Medicine Hat; eight grandchildren, Kyle, Jordan, Anthony, Tanner, Cindy, Melissa, Jarred, and Jackson; two sisters, Irene Waldo of Calgary and Lorraine (William) Seba of Wakaw, Saskatchewan; brothers and sisters-in-law, Henry (Lorretta) Light of Winnipeg, Betty Finzel of Palm Coast, Florida, Mae Rakai of Medicine Hat, George (Pearl) Light of Selkirk, Manitoba, Ruth (Ted) Grimm of Medicine Hat, and Al Stewart of Calgary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Alvin’s family wishes to sincerely thank the staff of the Medicine Hat Regional Hospital for their outstanding thoughtfulness and kind attention to Alvin’s needs. The family also would like to recognize Dr. Jeffery Bratvold for providing superlative care and compassionate support to Alvin and his family. The Funeral Service was held in SAAMIS MEMORIAL FUNERAL CHAPEL, #1 Dunmore Road SE, Medicine Hat, on Monday, December 18th, 2006, at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Loren Hosfield officiating. Interment took place in the Family Plot at Saamis Prairie View Cemetery.
