Waugh – Douglas Edmund Waugh of Brooks passed away in Brooks on January 29th, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Born in Calgary on April 3rd, 1930 he received his education in Brooks. Doug worked in the oil field and later farmed near Millicent. He was a member of The Brooks Gun Club and also loved collecting various guns. Doug loved his family, coffee buddies and traveling. He was predeceased by his parents Anna and Joseph and a brother Robert. Doug is survived by a sister Margaret Lewicky and her husband William of North Vancouver, British Columbia; 3 nieces and numerous other family members. Mass was celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, February 5th from St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rev. Avinash Colaco Celebrant. Interment followed at Brooks Cemetery.
