McCARTHY (October 10, 1925 – March 14, 2018) Mary Hannah McCarthy (née Hynes) passed away peacefully in her sleep on Wednesday in Brooks, Alberta at the age of 92. She was born October 10th 1925 in English Harbour East, Newfoundland. Mary is survived by her daughter Ada (Cyril); her son Clarence (Sharlene); Grandchildren: Rosalind (Dave), Tanya (Jeremy), Trisha (Jason) Joshua, and Dylan; and Great Grandchildren: Jailyn, Gabriel, Cory, Quynh, Max, Dakota, and Taya. She was predeceased by Mother Elizabeth, Father Patrick Hynes, brother Patrick Hynes and Grandson Cory Myles. A memorial service for Mary will be held at Thom’s Funeral Home (477 Margaret Drive in Duchess, AB) on Monday, March 19th, 2018 at 2 o’clock in the afternoon.
