HUGHES – Goldie Elvira Hughes of Brooks, passed away peacefully in Brooks on Saturday, April 14th, 2018 at the age of 94 years. Goldie was born on January 5th, 1924 in Brooks. She was predeceased by her husband George, son George “Butch”, sisters Ellenora, Lillian, Vivian and brother William. Goldie is survived by her children Michael, JoAnne and Debbie; grandchildren, Kevin, Donna and Jonathon; great grandchildren, Rhys, Kaycie and Zalin. She will be remembered by several nieces, nephews and their families. A private graveside service was held at the Brooks Cemetery with Rev. Ken Wells officiating.
