Hnatiuk – David Michael Hnatiuk of Brooks, beloved husband of Irene Hnatiuk, passed away peacefully in Brooks on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 at the age of 83 years. David was born in Medicine Hat, Alberta on November 8th, 1934. Dave started Allied Distributors in 1964. Through his love of great conversation he made many special friends over the years. He was an avid gardener and never missed an Edmonton Oilers or Eskimos game. Upon retirement Dave spent many winters with Irene in Yuma, Arizona. They moved into the Newbrook Lodge in 2013 and later Dave moved to Sunrise Gardens in June, 2017. He is survived by his wife Irene; son Dave Jr. and his wife Laurie of Brooks, and their children Kendra and Madison and daughter Kathy Chudleigh and her husband Kent of Brooks, and their son Jordan and his wife Tina. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Dave, if friends desire, memorial tributes may be made to Brooks and District Health Foundation, Bag 300, Brooks, Alberta T1R 1B3.
