    Anderson – Clifford Nathaniel Anderson of Brooks, beloved husband of Doris Anderson, passed away in Brooks on Tuesday, December 5th, 2017 at the age of 94 years. Clifford was born on July 16th, 1923 in Bardo, Alberta to Bersvend and Anne Anderson. Clifford married Doris Axelson on June 17th, 1952 in Scandia. They farmed in Bardo until 1962, when they moved to Rimbey, Alberta. Clifford and Doris moved to Scandia in 1964, where he farmed until 1971. He then became employed with the EID as a Ditch Rider in Scandia and then moved to Tilley in 1974, where he continued working for the EID. Clifford worked for the Eastern Irrigation District for 20 years and retired in 1992. He was a leader in 4H and held many positions in his Church. Clifford will be best remembered for the love he had for his family, his ability to invent or fix anything and all the good times spent at the lake. He was predeceased by his parents, Bersvend and Anne Anderson, brothers, Allen and Phillip Anderson, sister Bernice and his great granddaughter Lily McColl. Clifford is survived by his loving wife Doris; children, Clarice Anderson, Roger Anderson (Joan) and Ardis Anderson (Irene); 7 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law Irene Anderson and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were on Saturday, December 9th at 2:00 PM from Trinity Lutheran Church. Rev. John Theiss and Rev. Dwayne Schaaf officiated. Interment in Scandia Cemetery.
