Bandits trade with Nanaimo Clippers

The Brooks Bandits acquired defenceman Andrew Lucas from the Nanaimo Clippers of the British Columbia Hockey League.
In exchange the Bandits sent forward Thomas Samuelsen to the Clippers.
Lucas, 19, has scored three assists in 10 games as a BCHL player on both the Langley Rivermen and the Clippers, with six penalty minutes.
Last year in 26 Founders League games for Loomis Chaffee School, the 5’10”, 170lb defenceman had 10 goals and 18 assists.
He was named to the All-Conference West team by the New England Preparatory Schools Athletic Conference (NEPSAC) for the second consecutive year.
Lucas is committed to the NCAA Division I University of Vermont.
Samuelsen, 19, recorded one assist in two games with the Bandits after being recruited from Kimball Union Academy.
